I loved this article. I taught in China in my twenties and cherish notes like the one you mentioned. Great to recognize that many people behind the scenes touch lives.

So sweet. I fondly remember the 5 Academic placement and career advisement counselors for whom I clerked as a Columbia U. work-study, over-21 student in the early 70s. They were so kind and warm to me.
